Bankside has a variety of venues that offer flexible meeting rooms with state of the art AV facilities that can be booked with relatively short notice.

To make your last minute search a little easier, we thought we’d shine the light on some brand new meeting rooms or unusual spaces you might not be so familiar with:

Guild of Fine Food

The Guild of Fine Food is perhaps most well known for running the influential Great Taste and World Cheese Awards, as well as supporting and promoting producers of speciality food. At their London HQ you can find N0.42 – a flexible event space available for hire where you can present, teach, cook, create and discuss.

Just minutes from London Bridge Station, the venue is equipped for meetings, product launches, entertaining, demonstrations, training sessions and tastings. The main room is a bright, blank canvas and they also have a fully equipped demo kitchen. For presentations and meetings, there is WiFi as well as a projector and AV facilities.

The Guild of Fine Food at No. 42 is at street level with a prominent entrance and outdoor public seating just outside the front door. The space also has disabled access and facilities.

Coin Street Conference Centre

Located minutes from Waterloo station, Coin Street Conference Centre is a modern and environmentally sustainable central London meeting venue.  The conference centre itself has a range of contemporary, purpose-built meeting and event spaces and they’ve just unveiled a brand new meeting room located just minutes away from the main centre.

The Palm Meeting Room is a bright and fully accessible meeting space situated on the corner of Broadwall and Upper Ground, moments from the iconic Oxo Tower Wharf. It’s fully equipped with high quality AV equipment, including overhead projector, screen and high speed wifi. The room benefits from a private bathroom and access to an outdoor space which delegates can also benefit from.

Jerwood Space

Jerwood Space is a diverse, creative venue offering excellent facilities for both art and business. Originally a Victorian school that was converted in 1996 as a space for theatre rehearsal, the building now comprises of two modern, rooftop meeting rooms, a contemporary ‘Glasshouse’ and Gallery on the ground floor, as well as rehearsal spaces and production offices.

Their dedicated meeting rooms comprise of spaces 8 and 9 which sit on the top floor of the venue and offer wonderful views of Bankside.  Space 8 is a bright, corner room with mid-wall to ceiling windows and is equipped with; a 55 inch LED TV (wall mounted); writing wall; telephone conference call facilities and a projector. Space 9 is a bright, room with similiar AV facilities and has access to a small balcony which is perfect for relaxing breaks.

What’s more, Jerwood Space’s new in house caterers, the Gentlemen Baristas Schoolhouse, provide excellent food and beverage services to keep those concentration levels going during your meeting.

Space hire is a competitive £60.00+VAT per hour (3 hour minimum).
